OT Central Team Leader ( Brussels)

Our client is a major player in Belgium’s energy infrastructure, operating critical industrial systems that ensure the safe and continuous transport of energy nationwide.

To strengthen their Operational Technology division, we are looking for an OT Central Team Leader to lead a team of experts and oversee mission-critical SCADA and industrial control systems.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical ownership, team management, and real operational impact in a 24/7 environment.

Your role

You will:

Lead and coach a team of 5–6 OT/SCADA engineers
Own and optimize SCADA, PLC, RTU, HMI and ICS platforms
Ensure reliability, availability and cybersecurity of critical systems
Coordinate incident response and field interventions
Drive upgrades, modernization and OT projects
Act as the key interface between business, IT and operations

Your profile

Master’s degree in Engineering / Automation / IT or similar
5+ years in OT / ICS / SCADA environments
Strong knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA…)
Experience leading technical teams
Familiar with OT cybersecurity frameworks (IEC 62443, NIS2)
Calm, structured and confident in critical situations
Fluent in French and Dutch

Experience in utilities, energy, chemical or industrial environments is a strong plus.
