Digital Asset Management (DAM) Manager – B2B E-commerce Transformation

Our client is currently undergoing a critical phase in the delivery of a large-scale digital / B2B e-commerce platform. This programme is high-profile, time-sensitive, and requires strong governance and operational alignment to ensure successful delivery and go-live readiness.

To ensure the platform is populated with accurate, complete, and usable product data, we are seeking a DAM Manager to lead product data and asset governance.

The Role

As the DAM Manager, you will own the product data and digital asset ecosystem that underpins the e-commerce platform. You will ensure that all product information, assets, and catalogue structures are complete, validated, and ready for deployment.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the platform has the data foundation required to operate effectively at go-live.

Why This Role Is Critical

  • The platform requires validated product data before storefront readiness
  • Thousands of SKUs across multiple EU markets require accurate and localized data
  • There is currently no dedicated catalogue governance resource
  • Data readiness is often the most underestimated driver of delays, cost overruns, and post-launch issues
  • Without this role, the platform risks going live without usable or complete product data

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the product data library and digital asset repository
  • Define and enforce data and asset standards
  • Validate SKU completeness and localized product descriptions
  • Manage PIM-to-platform (e.g., Magento/Adobe Commerce) data accuracy
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure asset readiness ahead of each go-live
  • Establish governance processes for ongoing catalogue and asset management

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Digital Asset Management (DAM), PIM, or product data governance
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce data structures and catalogue management
  • Experience with platforms such as Adobe Commerce (Magento), PIM systems, or DAM tools
  • Experience managing large, multi-market product catalogues
  • Strong attention to detail and data quality mindset
  • Ability to coordinate across suppliers, marketing, and technical teams

Day 1 Priorities

  • Conduct an audit of existing product data, assets, and PIM configuration
  • Assess gaps in SKU completeness and storefront readiness
  • Define and initiate a plan to ensure data readiness for upcoming go-live milestones
