We are currently looking for a Data Architect to join an international company operating in a highly operational and data-rich environment. The company employs around 2,000 people across more than 30 countries and has a global IT organization of approximately 50 people. 
 

Your Role
 

As a Data Architect, you will take a leading role in designing and structuring the company’s data platform and architecture. You will operate at the intersection of business and technology, ensuring that data is reliable, accessible, and supports operational and strategic decision-making.
 

Your responsibilities include:
 

• Leading the data architecture vision and ensuring alignment across projects and teams
• Defining and implementing data models (conceptual, logical, physical) across operational and analytical domains
• Designing and evolving a modern Azure-based data platform (data lake, pipelines, analytics)
• Setting up and promoting data governance principles, standards, and best practices
• Translating business needs into scalable data solutions in close collaboration with stakeholders
• Supporting and mentoring the data engineering team, bringing structure and seniority
• Coordinating with external partners and ensuring alignment with architectural guidelines
• Collaborating with other architects (infrastructure, application, security, integration) to ensure end-to-end coherence

• Data team currently composed of 2 data engineers
• Modern data platform with a focus on Azure technologies and real-time data flows
• Strong operational context with complex, business-critical data
• Close collaboration between IT and business teams
   

What You Bring
 

• Proven experience in data architecture, data modelling, and data pipeline design
• Hands-on experience with Azure data services (Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse or similar)
• Good understanding of batch and streaming data processing
• Solid knowledge of data governance, data quality, and security principles
• Ability to bridge business and IT, translating requirements into structured solutions
• Strong communication skills in English
